Ft. Myers Beach Offshore Grand Prix Every year Ft. Myers Beach hosts this race. This week-long event in May leads up to the 2 days of racing. 70-80 high performance boats race just off the beach. Lots of hoopla surrounds this party, including a motorcycle poker run, block party, parade and concert. All proceeds go to Shriners Childrens Hospital Transporation Fund for Lee County.
